I don't have it but if it's MidSide I don't know any other limiter that does that, I know there are limiters and limiters but I pretty much see all single band limiters as the same, then I've had very good experiences using multiband which make me think this could be as useful in some material. I know this is not much help tho but maybe the bump will bring more useful responses.

Cheers Daniel, when are you going to renovate your subscription and post more often?

Izotope can do mid/side. I was thinking of picking up the bx though also just to have something else that can. I have seen some threads with both dislikes and likes, most of the dislikes seem to be centered on the dated GUI but some didn't care for the sound. I have several limiters and they all sound different but not "bad" or unusable. None of them fit's everything to my ears.

I've got the BX_XL_V2 and have been able to get some great results. There's really a lot you can do with it. I've got quite a few of the usual limiter suspects and there isn't anything I am aware of that can do what XL_V2 does.

$39 is a steal.

I have the PIA limiter but never use it. Stick with the Sonnox. Sounds great.

Brainworx MS has always something unique when you have time to experiment... just like Sonnox. But neither of those are good if you need quick results, which is where I still sometimes use Waves L3LL-Multi

I've got their standard little BX limiter too and I agree if that's the one you're referring to, hardly ever sees any use, maybe on a track occasionally.

The BX_XL_V2 is very different.

I like the bx_limiter for quick and dirty duty particularly on my drum bus. I demoed the bx_xl V2 M/S limiter and it's way too easy to mess up the sound. If I need a limiter and also need to crank up the gain the cleanest one I have in my tooolbox is Fabfilter Pro L current version. Wave L3LL gets nasty sounding when trying to crank input gain.

Good idea as PA has better things to spend money on. Keep in mind that the April vouchers are due tomorrow April 8th.
