Me too!!!!!! I can't work at home yet on most of my projects at work (Mac TDM). Nobody I asked even had a clue that the Windows version didn't support Video.
P.S. Any rumors about a date for implementing this. (digi wouldn't tell me)

Yes! Video support please. There's use for it, plenty. I'd love to work on a clip streaming along with my music on the internet, dvdrom or whatever. Lots of possibilities!

definately. Im mostly into music right now but do alot of video for fun, would eventually like to integrate pro tools and video without buying a mac

Hi all

Just wondered if anybody else is bothered by the absence of video support in PTLE (and PT TDM, for that matter) for windows?

I've done some dialog premixes on a mac running TDM, and really, apart from not beeing able to spot to SMPTE, there is not a huge difference between a TDM system and a LE system when it comes to to what you need to get the job done regarding to dialog editing and premixing - except the fact that PTLE on windows does not support any kind of video playback, of course..

So - my question is as follows:

1. Is video support an important feature that you need implemented in PTLE for windows? If this is the case, please sign this petition!

2. Does anyone know of any workarounds for the lack of video support, i.e any programs that one possibly could sync up to to view video in sync with audio from PTLE? Any info on this subject will be greatly appreciated.

QUICKTIME 5.02 is relased for WINDOWS, you now that? Digidesign - simple the best.......... Try use VIDEO FACTORY or VEGAS 3.0 from simple the best - SONIC FOUNDRY......
