Tadaaaa DB-33 Organ and drawbar like cool plugin we never use in Modern House/Dance Pop songs but if you are looking for something like that you will probably like that.

OK. So I now have the Pro Tools Creative Collection installed. All of the various keyboards are "functional". For instance, I can make organ sounds by clicking on individual keys on the DB33 keyboard with my mouse. However, when I connect my MIDI controller to my laptop, it does not "control" the keys. How do I make Pro Tools recognize the controller tha t I am attempting to use? In this case, I am trying to use my Line 6 Mobile Keys 25 as the controller. It does not require drivers, so that is not the problem. I am not having any success finding the solution to my problem in the Pro Tools reference guide, and I can't seem to find any YouTube instructional videos that will lead the way. As always, I am open to suggestions and will gladly accept any thoughts or hints that anyone out there might have. Thanks!

Matthew

I have "created" the Line 6 controller in MIDI Studio Setup, but Input Port reads "none" and Output Port reads "none". I am also not sure what the blue "send channels" and "receive channels" are for...

Yes, I get sound from the DB33 keyboard when it is rec arm AND when it is not. But I cannot "play" the keys with my keyboard controller. I can only play the DB33 with my mouse.

You need to goto Setup in Pro Tools -> Midi -> Devices and check your midi keyboard

Try that and post back

Chris

When I go to Setup > MIDI > Input Devices, the Input Devices box where it says "Input Devices Enable" is empty.

Actually it says "MIDI Input Enable". Sorry. But, yeah, that box is empty.

I did select "Line 6" in "MIDI Studio Setup", but my model (mobile keys) is not an option. Input Port says "none". Output Port says "none".

No success at all. At a total standstill here. Cannot even find anything in my Pro Tools Ignite! textbook that is helpful in addressing this issue, either.
