EWQL Symphonic Gold

Does anyone know if the original EWQL Symphonic Gold for Kontact is compatable with Structure.Looking
on the sounds online website it seems to be un-encrypted.If that is the case click on the link.Why then is this library virtually half the price for the original as compared to the Structure version.
What am I missing here.

The original EWQL Symphonic Gold is not compatible with Structure. Is encrypted. Of course, since they are in Kontakt format, you can open the files in the full NI Kontakt program, but even there, you don't have access to the raw material.

If you convert the price they have in Europe for the original to US Dollars, is a little bit more expensive than in the US, around 20 USD of difference. In the US, you can buy the original for 495 USD now, but if you see the list price, it used to be 995 USD.

Of course, still there is a 200 USD dollars of difference between the original and the Structure version, but keep in mind that now in the Structure version you have access to the full material. You can now tweak it to tailor your needs.

Also, we have to keep in mind that the Structure version of Symphonic Gold, is actually a Digidesign product, not an EWQP product. So they don’t necessarily need to have the same prices.

If you don’t have the need to modify the raw material, the original is a pretty good deal, and is RTAS compatible. But if you think that you need to modify and tweak it to the ground the samples to fit your needs, Structure version is for you.

Does anyone know if Digidesign plans to release a Structure version of the EWQLSO Platinum XP version? That would be awesome.

the Structure version of Symphonic Gold, is actually a Digidesign product, not an EWQP product.

pcodigital, it's the same EastWest 16-Bit Ambient Sample library just mapped to suit Structure's architecture.

EWQLSO Gold has just been released in a Structure Version. I just bought it, and it's great.

Pepe Ojeda, is this your secondary library or main? How do you find the ambience of this library? And do you have any comparative Articulations you like or dislike, would like to see or not see?

And just as a side question, what application(s) do you use to compose?

Agreed, I probably won't get structure till the platinum XP comes out
