Strike Installation - Plug In/Content
I am aware that during the installation procedure you can install the Strike plug-in to your OS drive and the Strike content (dataX.BIG), to another (library), drive. My question is, on my library drive, should the Strike content be installed into the Digidesign Database folder, the Program Files folder or does it even matter?
I guess I'm used to being prompted by the install program on which drive to send things to and the program creates it's own folder. Thank you in advance, luken |

Re: Strike Installation - Plug In/Content
It doesn't matter, although don't put it in the Digi database folder. There is a little utility, "Set Strike Content Location" that you run if necessary, which basically tells Strike where to find the data.

Re: Strike Installation - Plug In/Content
Thank you cneal92 and filosofem for your responses. I was aware of the Strike content utility but thought that was to be used if you installed to the OS drive and then decided to move the content elsewhere. I appreciate your help.
