Default 6.2.3 to 6.9, a lot better sounding

Hi !

Recently made a switch from Mac/6.2.3 to PC/6.9. To me it sounds a lot better with the newer software. Has there been any major changes since 6.2 in the mixing engine?

As a Mac-fanatic I refuse to believe it has to do with the PC.

We lock to Video Ref, can it the a firmware upgrade of the Sync I/O?

The sound is more open, and less grainy, a lot more analog sounding.

Have I eaten mushrooms?

Opinions?
