Ari Up died

Just found out The Slits singer died a couple of days ago.

One of my favourite childhood bands, I'd just been re-discovering a load of my old records and putting some of their stuff on my ipod, only days ago.

My condolences to her family, friends and band members.

I guess the appropriate song of choice under these circumstances is their brilliant cover version of "Heard it through the grape vine".
