CD Burning Software
Which software do you guys use for burning Cd's?
Ive been using iTunes but I know there are other apps out there. Wondering if anyone has had any positive experiences with stuff like Toast or Roxio... iTunes seems to limit the loudness somewhat so Im wondering what is a better alternative.

Toast is fine. Used it for decades. They used to have a specific app for just audio discs called Jam. AFAIK, all the functionality now lives in Toast. FYI - Roxio is the company name, Toast is the application name.
iTunes should not be altering the level. Are you sure you don’t have the reply gain feature enabled? IIRC, that setting sticks when burning discs. Handy if you’re making a mixed compilation CD of various songs from your iTunes library but not really ideal if you’re wanting an exact replication of your files. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

Yep. I remember setting that up with a colleague at a small facility. Works well and it’s free. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |
