Default Advice needed on hard drive

I am not sure what thread to have posted this ion, so I hope it is not completely off topic. I use Pro Tools 8.

I use a SSD (solid state drive) as my main system disk where windows resides. I also have another new SSD drive and I am wondering if there is any advantage of using a SSD drive to capture my session files and raw track recordings?

Any thoughts?

Thank-you

My 2 cents, but I think not. SSD's have a finite ability to write, so I would not record to one. If its large enough, it would make an excellent sample library drive, but I prefer to record to WD Caviar BLACK drives
