Default A quick way to remove plugs from a track?

Couldn't find it in the manual--

I want some key combination with a click that will remove plug assignments from a track. Similar to making it inactive or bypassing it. Is there such a thing? "Remove Plug From Track"! Or even a way to clear all plugs from a track at once.

thanks!

Hold down option and select no insert, the whole row will go to no inserts.

That will remove all plugins on all tracks from the corresponding slot, I think the OP wants all 5 slots from a single track removed, and I don't know a way to do that. However, you could duplicate the track and have a copy with no inserts and alternate between the two quite easily.

Yeah no way to do that function.

All these ideas are helpful in my situation. I think I was envisioning happily clicking away on all my plugs, removing them like with an eraser tool. But the option thing, and also the duplication trick could help.

Thanks--and if anybody else has ideas, please keep 'en coming!

One feature that I miss since PT4 is to be able to bypass all plugins in one track with one click so I could compare processed and no processed signals...

the duplicate track (sans plugs) is probably the best solution, but I wanted to add that throughout my day I do make plugs inactive a lot. (ctrl/apple/click on plug). This seems to be the fastest (even when I have a few inserts on a track, as I just hold the ctrl/apple and keep clicking). Not a perfect solution, but it helps.
