This situation is idiotic, people are telling the company what they want and the company keeps trying to convince people that they actually want something else. Two companies - once partners have become competitors. Marketing is what it is - people tend to believe what they read but it takes more than marketing, you need a product people actually want to be truly successful.

I say, for studio and live sound - Avid DSP or no DSP. Please people, vote with your wallets. There are good alternatives - nice, friendly and talented people who respect your investments more.

Avid, Flux, McDSP, Metric Halo, Plugin Alliance, Softube, and Sonnox are getting my plugin dollars these days. Sure wish I have Waves API, SSL, and V-Series in AAX DSP.

Yep -- no re-wup until AAX-DSP is out!
