Default Master faders and DSP

How can the master faders (as said in the manual) not require DSP? I though a gain-change was a gain-change?!

Default Re: Master faders and DSP

Each mixer has a master gain built-in, so it is always present. So it doesn't use any extra DSP (than you are already using)when you use a master fader to control it.
