Cubase - forgetting desk state on channel switch

In Cubase, if I put the S1 into, say, Quick Controls or Inserts mode, and then select another channel in the DAW, the S1 goes back into its default state. Grateful if this could be looked at ASAP, it's a major workflow killer. Thanks!

Eddie - can you confirm that this is a known issue being worked on?

It's such a massive workflow-killer. I use Quick Controls a lot, and every single time I change channels I have to re-jig the entire surface into the right mode.

Have you tried function recall mode. Look at the bottom right of EuControl General tab.

Sorry for the slow reply Eddie - just tried every available mode there and sadly makes no difference.

Yes, we have a bug logged and are looking at it. Hopefully it's on our side and we can put it in the next EUCON release. But if it's on Steinberg's we will let them know.
