I own a Protools system professionaly and at home I also own a PTLE Mbox2 system.
I upgraded it before winter from 6.8.1 to 7.0 then to 7.1
All worked fine until today when I wanted to open PT, it doesn't launch and displays "access violation occured" and that's all, I can't open PT anymore !!!
I've uninstalled correctly all the digidesign products then reinstalled 6.8.1 ( which launched perfectly) then the 7.0 and I've been confronted again with "access violation occured".
Is anybody knows what is happening ?

Try deleteing all the prefs and Digidatabase's.

I've had a problem like that where something got corrupted.
