Default importing audio

i have a dvd disc with pro tools session on it that was sent to me to do a remix
but i cannot get the audio files to open i get a error code 36 I/O.
i have tried copying and importing byt nothing works.
i am running the latest OS and pro tools 6.4cs7.
if some one could help me please

That's weird. You should be able to just drag the PT sessions to the desktop and open them from there. Remember you can't open the sessions from the DVD or CD.

This should work; I do it all the time.

You are copying the PT session in its entirety from the DVD disc to your HD before you try to do anything with it, aren't you? Once you have done that, before you run PT, eject the disk so that you are absolutely sure you are looking at what's on your HD, and poke around in the directory/file structure to make sure that everything is in its proper place.

If that all looks good, you may have gotten a bad disk.
