Cansomeone please tell me why heat is not showing up in Pro Tools 9??

Did you buy it? It's a separate purchase, and not included standard, even if you bought an HDX system.

I am trying to use the trial but not seeing it in pro tools 9 and not getting a licence from Avid

Is ur system HD??

If ur installing the software that came on the install disk - it won't activate till you have the ilok licenses even if u installed it - now if ur running PT9 regular then u won't see it even if u have an ilok license - heat=HD only
