Default Bounce to disk crash

Almost every time I do a Bounce to disk on my PT HD1 9.0.5 it crashes.
Sometimes comes the spinning ball for a while and then, after a minute o so, the bounce completes, sometimes it lasts forever...
Anyone having the same issue ?
I already trashed everything trashable... prefs and all that stuff.

Best regards

How big a session? What buffer setting? How about some details on the system?

Very small sessions... no more than 5 minutes long and about 10 tracks.
Buffer setting... I tried every setting.
System: MacPro Intel Xeon, Quad core, 7 GB RAM, PT 9.0.5 HD1, Avid 96 io.

Do you have "Convert after bounce" checked in the BTD window? If not, try that.

I tried both Convert after bounce and Convert During Bounce options and it happens on both situations.

Yup, I've been suffering with this.

I've got round each crash (after restarting Pro Tools) by opening the offending project, saving it as a different name and then the bounce works fine.

No idea why!

Cheers,
Rich
