Possible issue w/PRE\'s OSC output...
I have a Digi PRE connected to a 192 I/O via DB25s. I created a session to check the calibration settings. According to the manual, PRE's oscillator outputs a 1Khz signal at +4dBu through the DB25 output. I set up a few mono channels in PT and activated the Inserts on PRE channels but the 1Khz tone I'm receiving is at about -18. After checking my cabling, which is fine, I tested w/Digi's Signal Generator and set it at 1Khz at -6. It registers fine according to my Waves PAZ plugs.
This can't be right. Anyone have similar issues? Thanks in advance!

Re: Possible issue w/PRE\'s OSC output...
That corresponds with the factory alignment of an analog input on the 192. The 192 input is set to clip at +22dBu. A test tone at +4dBu would be at -18dBfs since 22-4=18.
