It might improve the mood from, "What in the devil is wrong with you!!!" to "Well, OK, at least these few things aren't broken anymore. Can you fix the important things now?"

The new thing with HEAT is you can run it on non HD versions but you still need to own it to use ot.

You need to buy a license to be able to run HEAT on PT.
No joke!
- But I had to laugh out loud, when I read that.
Not that funny, still it realy looks like a joke to me.

You can never please everyone. Now this only means Avid finally allows standard software customers to buy that plugin, nothing more.

Actually, it's the opposite. Ultimate used to work only if you had the gear. Now, Ultimate works software-only, with whatever gear you throw at it.

And for the complainers out there, please note that the rental price of Ultimate just went down. Not bad!

Heat is great. I have used it on just about every session since it came out and I bought it. That people think they should just get it for free seems weird. I think it is great news that it is finally supported in PT Vanilla.

I think it should be included.
Or at the very least should be much less expensive.

There are too many other good sounding saturation options out there now.

Agree. The old Waves NLS is still a good choice

Isn't the big benefit to Heat that it takes up much less CPU resources than then other plugins because it's built right into the Protools mixer itself? (Or maybe rather that you've already lost that CPU headroom since it's already there all the time whether it's authorized or not?)
