SSD Question
I am not sure what thread to have posted this ion, so I hope it is not completely off topic. I use Pro Tools 8.
I use a SSD (solid state drive) as my main system disk where windows resides. I also have another new SSD drive and I am wondering if there is any advantage of using a SSD drive to capture my session files and raw track recordings? Any thoughts? Thank-you |

Re: SSD Question
You may have worked this out by now, but here goes ....
It's has always been recommended, that you have your recorded audio on a separate drive. SSDs are faster that regular spinning drives, so, your system should be even faster now.
