Accidentally Erased my External Hard Drive
Hi Folks,
Can anyone give me some assistance on recovering data lost from my external hard drive that was accidentally erased? Today I was trying to add a new external hard drive to my G5, single 1.8GHz processor, running Mac OS X 10.3.9, with 6 GB of DDR SDRAM memory and I some how erased all of the data from my old old(first) external hard drive. Is there any chance or means by which I might recover my losted data? Thanks in advance. May the light be with you and yours. AncientMan

Do a web search on data recovery, and make sure you do not write anything new to the drive. If it was a simple initialize it may be recoverable as long as it hasn't been used since.
