ProTools LE8 freezes after DAE loaded in startup
I have a new Dell (Windows 7), and I just installed a brand new mBox2 Pro with ProTools LE8. When I start up the software, the program freezes when it hits DAE loaded. I have to shut down the program. When I do, I see a blue screen telling me that it is dumping physical memory and that if I installed something weird recently, get it off.
I tried optimizing my computer, to no avail. I also tried removing of the plugins, and that didn't make any difference. If someone could please help me solve this, I would be very grateful. My specs: mBox2 Pro with ProTools LE8; Dell Studio 1747 (in Spring 2010); Processor: Intel i7 Q720 @1.60 gHz; Memory: 6.0 GB RAM Audio: ATI High Definition Audio Device Windows 7 |
