Vikings or Packers?

In East Central MN here....life is almost like a continuing episode of Jerry Springer.

I kinda know how ya feel. I'm in a little
town called Pahrump, Nevada, about 60 miles
west of Las Vegas, but I love it here.
It's peaceful here, and very conducive to
'the artistic flow'...
I share your sentiments on country music,
pickemups, and football, but here it's very
'free'...cops are very scarce, and there's a
general 'live and let live' attitude.
There are only 2 stoplights in the whole town, and mostly gravel roads. We are in the desert, but in a valley, surrounded by mountains. Kidz ride right down the streets
on their dirtbikes, gocarts, and 4wheelers.
No matter where you are, you have to make the best of it, appreciate it for what it is,
find the beauty in it, and hopefully draw experiences from it that will inspire you to write music...
BTW, I'd be willing to bet money that I'm the
only one with ProTools in this town

coaster-
hey, I'm in South Dakota and I kinda know how ya feel. Used to spend a lot of time driving around ND with a client in the wintertime doing testimonial radio recording. From Dickenson to Grand Forks and all places in between....The place I work at has a Mix+ system connected to a FibreChannel array that works soooo cool....One thing though-I confess to being a HUGE Vikings fan. Anyway, what I'm trying to say is thanks to the web and things like the DUC the world is getting smaller and smaller...it's a great time to be alive. By the way, SonOfSmawg, Vegas is one of my very favorite places to visit-I envy you your year-around warmth
peace

Guys...
North Dakota sounds like paradise to me......
I like both kinds of music...Country and Western...but I do have very catholic tastes..
You should all try a visit to Dudley, in The East Midlands, England.....THEN, you'd have something to complain about!!...

Here in this residential neighborhood in northern Kentucky, every third or forth 'house' is a bar - neon lights clue you in - but it is an interesting concept .......... .....................
....... It's 106 miles to Chicago, we've got a full tank of gas, a half pack of cigarettes, it's dark, and we're wearing sunglasses.
