Default Re: Upgrade Protools HD on new Mac Pro (2017)

All I can give you is our experience.

We have 10 rooms almost identical, all running Mac Pro 2013 (there's no 2017 version trashcan)

5x Rooms wit HDX+ HD I/O + SYNC + BM 4kPCIE + SANLINK 8GB TB
5x Rooms wit HDN TB+ HD OMNI + BM Ultrastudio EX TB + SANLINK 8GB TB

All running smooth since 2014.

But yes, now is not the right time to buy a Mac Pro 2013 trashcan (only if you REALLY REALLY NEED IT)

The new iMac 5K with the best processor + ram its better than the 6 core version of the Mac Pro and you get a 5K monitor.
