How To: Get PT-Express running on Windows 8!
There I was, about to punch my new $1,000 computer in its imaginary face because Pro Tools Express kept giving me the "unable to locate hardware" error despite a seamless installation. Then I found out that the software is blatantly not compatible with Windows 8.
Luckily, there's a workaround. Thanks, Sweetwater.com: http://www.sweetwater.com/sweetcare/...ws-8-computer/ Hope this helps someone in a similar situation. |
