mbox 2 micro with older powerbook?
I have an older powerbook, a G4 867mhz. Digi does not recommend using the mbox 2 micro with processors slower than 1GB but I'd like to try using it with my powerbook. Has anyone tried using a mbox 2 micro with a powerbook G4 867 mhz? Did it work?
thanks! |

Re: mbox 2 micro with older powerbook?
Hi,
if the PB can run OS X 10.4 tiger and PT7.3.1 (minimum set) you might be able to record 2 tracks and do easy cut up tasks with an external FW disk of course. maxing out the RAM would also be a good idea. I had workable performances on my G4 Tower 1.2GHz, 1.5GB RAM. So with the PB recording should be fine. best
