Audio suddenly changes to AM/FM type distortion.
I've recently started having problems with my audio while working in post production.
I'll start editing a session then all of a sudden the audio starts to sound like its being played through a bad am radio while you're trying to find a station. It doesn't actually affect the audio files, simply quitting PT and then starting it again makes the problem go away but a minute later it returns. My setup G4 Quicksilver Mac OS 10.4.7 1 Gig ram Pro Tools LE 7.1 M Box 1 DV Toolkit 1 Now I had received an OMF so I had to use DV Toolkit to open the file. Could this be the problem since it's DV Toolkit 1 and not 2?? Thanks for the help. |

Re: Audio suddenly changes to AM/FM type distortion.
An update:
If I change the clock source from internal to SPDIF the problem is fixed but returns in about 30 seconds. |
