Default Recordings won't play back at right pitch-help much appreciated

Hi all,

I've got a humdinger of a problem I could really used advice on. Please read a little further to see if you have any ideas.

Did a band recording about six weeks ago. Used a Beringher ADA 8000 as the lightpipe input for some tracks, set at 48k. Also used it as the sync for the hardware.

Tried to do overdubs a few days later and noticed the recordings wouldn't play back at the right pitch, tried toggling back and forth between ADAT and internal as the hardware sync. Did this for a quite a while to no avail, then viola', it came out of it and played at the right pitch.

Now a few weeks later, it's mixdown time. Same problem and I can't get it to snap out of it. Setting the sync on ADAT, it plays back ridculously fast. Set on Internal, it's almost a full step below pitch.

Any ideas? This is a seriously stressful problem and any help is appreciated.

JD

Your session sample rate is different than the actual sample rate of the files. Create a new session at the correct sample rate and use 'Import Session Data' to import files from the original session and make sure to uncheck SRC.
