Default consolidating clip is creating audio glitches

Hi All

I am having an issue where if i have a group of drum tracks that i have edited with tons of crossfades that when consolidating a few of the tracks tend to have glitches in them, they can be easily identified in the waveform.

This seems to happen on PT HD 12.4 on different computers and both Mac or Windows.

Has anyone come across this issue before?

Is elastic audio enabled on the tracks that you’re consolidating?

No it is not. I don't use it on drums.

Plug-ins can do this.

Nothing to do with plugins i don't think. More the consolidation process dealing with either crossfades or elastic audio.
It seems upon further research a common issue since PT 11 so I am sure someone from Avid must have a solution by now.

Lemme save you some time:

Not sure that's a 100% solid solution if you cannot identify what is causing the issue.

If you can though that may be more helpful than committing to paying you $100AUD per month or learning a new DAW .
