Default Using 888 with two 192\'s on HD2 system.

Just upgraded from a mix plus to HD2 accel. I want to use my legacy 888 along with the two HD192's(with one extra AD and one DA card instlalled for 24x24) that I purchased. All three are clocked from a Apogee Big Ben. It seems that once I have connected the 2nd 192 to the first I no longer have the option of using the legacy port. It seems that I have to purchase another cable to have each 192 run to its own HD card. Is this correct? Will the option for legacy port be available for both 192's in the IO setup? Anybody else have this situation.
On a related note, the Apogee site says that when using big ben with 192's to not run the loop sync cables between the 192's. Any thoughts?
Thanks

You need indeed another long Digilink cable to run to the second card. After that, the two legacy ports are available again. About the loop sync, if you follow the instructions on the Apogee site, you don't need to do the loop sync indeed. Never tried that because no Apogee big ben here

I did use the legacy port though, and in all cases I had to clock the legacy interface off the 192 I was connecting to (ext clock out connector from 192 to 888 ext clock in).

Hope this helps
