Low Latency Monitoring BIG PROBLEM
Please help me if anyone has ever encountered this one...
THE SETUP: Pro Tools LE 5.3.2 002 Rack Mac OS 9.2.2 G4 PowerPC - Dual 1GHz - 1GB RAM Recording 16 tracks. 8 analog from 002, 8 digital from a Focusrite Octopre via ADAT lightpipe. Everything set to Main Outputs 1 and 2. THE PROBLEM: All of my digital inputs monitor off the next 2 digital input channels (1+2 come up on my 3+4 tracks, 5+6 come out 7+8). ADAT 7 and 8 end up monitoring if I have an AUX track set to SPIDF in 1-2. With Low latency OFF, everything is cool, but the computer can't handle the track count with a low buffer size. ***Why would all my digital inputs monitor on different tracks when I turn on Low Latency Monitoring????*** I haven't found any information about this issue. Any ideas?!?!? thanks Reed |
