Handed over the loot to Dick Turpin! left/right scroll and ADC issue
Hi,
SORTED! Left right scroll holding shift started working after a re-boot! Got the red ADC warning light on. I always have sends on my effects returns channels routed back into the channel to re generate filtered delays etc, but this is now causing the ADC red over light to come on??? Chris

Re: Handed over the loot to Dick Turpin! left/right scroll and ADC issue
Can't help you with point 1 as I'm not handing any more loot over until there's a fix for the 9031 errors that have plagued me since 8.0.3.
But as for point 2 that's been answered by avid over here: http://duc.avid.com/showpost.php?p=1698133&postcount=17 |

Re: Handed over the loot to Dick Turpin! left/right scroll and ADC issue
The way Tim worded the post it sounded more like they did it deliberately, but I was a bit dubious about the idea myself. I guess their thinking was that since ADC can't work in a feedback loop, technically the indicator should go red. But if you have that set up in every session by default - man I'd be p***ed. Might I suggest making the feedback sends inactive until you actually need them?
Mind you I still remember there was once a release of PT that wouldn't even let you send an aux to it's own input (was it 5.3? 6.0? can't remember). Now that's patronising! |
