PT Plug-in Manager Software
I work at a studio in the netherlands where we have 5 hd protools systems running, all with the same plug-ins. But we have a few plug-ins which we have only one authorisation on a single iLok, so we can use these plug-ins in every studio. BUT, then you have to disable or enable this plug-ins...
So I had an idea to design an application to switch plug-ins on and off, just like the good old extension manager in macos9. It's still under construction, but I'm very currious what other protoolsusers may think of it... so if you have protools running on a mac (osx10.3.x), download the pt plug-in manager and give it a try: PT Plug-in Manager Website |

Re: PT Plug-in Manager Software
I've created the same exactly utility for over 6 months now ...
I wrote it in Realbasic so it's Mac/PC Compatible. There is lack of interest as I've sent it to few beta-testers so I add features to make it more appealing. freeware ofcourse. Can't see you app as I've sold my mac and waiting for the new one to arrive. Funny. .

Re: PT Plug-in Manager Software
I can send you old build to email.
I've never got it out. I got a lot of comments about the GUI design and all so I changed it a lot and decided to add more features (still havn't had the time to add them all). my email is ttg </AT/> hotmail.co.il and I can send you older version though when my new mac arrive I'll post a new build for mac/pc. It simply move the plug-ins to "Disabled Folder" and shows you a list you can choose which to put (ofcourse this must be done before running pro tools). LE/TDM compatible.

Re: PT Plug-in Manager Software
Thanks for making this available. I just wanted to let you guys know that there are people out here who do use plugin manager software. In OS 9 I used a plugin manager that was made for Photoshop. I've been waiting for a good replacement in OS X.
