Issue With Automation in CPTK 2 - Capture and PReview

Any thoughts on this ? ...
I am on a Mac Pro 2.4. Westmere 8 core running Pro Tools 9.02

I am trying to drop in the capture automation from one channel to another track ...

When i Write to it ... it only puts the nodes in but not the actual automation on the other track ..However doing this on the same track works as it should ?

Is this a bug or something ..or does anyone else have this problem ?

Kind of hard to follow what you're doing, but Preview and Capture (as far as I understand them) aren't meant to copy automation between tracks.

You could drag a region from one track to another (with automation follows edit on), and that would copy common automation from one track to another. Or duplicate the track, etc..

You have totally misunderstood what 'capture' does - it effectively takes a snapshot of all faders (or whatever else you have automation enabled), so you can (for instance) "paste" the levels from one section to another.
