Default MIDI and pitch bend

I'm suddenly having a rather odd problem I'm wondering if anyone else has experienced.

When I am recording midi tracks with my M-Audio 61 Keyboard into PT (v.12.8/ Mac OS High Sierra) everything will be working perfectly and then suddenly the midi tracks are "out of tune" as if it's receiving a few cents of pitch bend. I can get around it by restarting whichever VI plug-in I'm using, but it will often reoccur within the same session.

This happens with all VI's

I've checked to see if there's any controllers being recorded and there aren't any.

I've checked cable etc., but so far I haven't been able to solve this.

Any suggestions?
Thanks!
Jeremy

Keystations do that after a while, the best thing you can do is sell it to whoever takes it as it is and get a new controller from a different brand, try to go with known names like Akai or Korg, that's what I ended up doing

Keystations aren't the only ones that have wacky pitch bend wheels. The one on my ancient Motif 7 doesn't always return a zero value when centered, especially if I let it snap back on it's own. It overshoots sometime and goes either flat or sharp depending on the initial bend.
