Default Support plan expiring

I am on 12HD, currently 12.8.1. Really on the fence about shelling out $299 to keep it going.

Can anyone share anything convincing one way or another?

Thanks,
j

Default Re: Support plan expiring

It os $399 to keep the plan, not $299so that might convince you one of the other.

Also as we do this for our day job even though we work nights hehe We have to use HD with surround and a few other great features and I am guessing PT13 isn't that far away next year so if you make music professionally then I would definitely update the plan but if you use it for your own pleasure and not making any money them maybe wait a year or two and sonce the reinstatement price is $999 you would pay the same for two years of theplan as you would for buying in again in two years.

All I can say is if you use PT commercially and use all the extra features then the answer is simple but as PT12 Non HD has got many many great new features trickled down from PT12HD you might wanna buy a used copy for 200/250USD and pay $99 a year to be current and sell your HD copy but only if you don't use certain features and you know you would get by without them. non PTHD is not that far behind anymore and the only feature we would really lose is Surround and clip gain. Otherwise I am sure we would be using nonHD and be able to write andproduce thesame billboard hits we do now

Sorry if I can't be more of help but this is something only you can answer really.
