Default send audio track to midi track

Hi! just finished watching an awesome waves tutorial video. they showed how to put the morphoder plugin on a midi track and then set the output of an audio track to that midi track. the results are amazing. when i try doing this though, i do not have my midi tracks as one of the output options. am i missing some info? or this isn't possible to do in pro tools?

Can you please share here the link to the video you were watching? I think vocoders are set up the other way around.

First off in general terms you cannot send audio to a MIDI track. The MIDI is used to trigger Morphoder.

hi! looks like they didn't let thru the link to the waves video, but if you're familiar with vocoders theres prob no need for you to watch it. i watched the tutorial again, and understood that its the sidechaining option that allows the vocal to play thru the midi notes. i currently don't own the morphoder plugin. are there any similar plugins that give me this option?
