Default LE Factory Bundle for Post

I'm trying to decide if it's worth it to get the factory plugins with my Mbox Pro. I'll mainly use the system for editing SFX, music and dialog. Do any post editors have opinions on these plugins and how usefull they are for these purposes? It's only $100 more, but if I'm never going to use them, I'd rather spend the money elsewhere.

I don't remember what you get with the factorybundle, but for post...hmmm... The Maxim distorts when pushed, the Joe Meek stuff is not very "precise". But if it's all you have you can make them work for you. I guess your plugin-choice all depends on how far you want to take things. For editing, adding SFX and ambiences you don't need anything. If you want to deliver complete mixes, Waves Gold Native would be my choice.

Spend the money on DV Toolkit.

I agree with C...save the $100 and eventually get DVTK2. The plugs in the factory bundle are pretty useless in post....The included Digi Dyn3/EQ3 should suit you fine. Other than that, if your looking for a very useful plug-in, look at the Massey L2007 limiter....it's only $89, it sounds great, and you'll use it all of the time.

Thanks for the opinions!!! I'm still on the fence, since I realised the Factory Bundle comes with the iLok, which I need anyway, so it's really only about $50 more for the bundle.
