MBox 2 Mini Firmware Update Crash

Hi there,

I was updating the firmware on my MBox 2 Mini to 1.43 and in the middle of it, the updater froze (the pinwheel would just keeping spinning). I remember the installer freezing when it was downloading the new firmware.

My MBP won't recognize it. Another MBP won't recognize it. My XP machine will recognize a USB device but will just state that it is unrecognized. The USB light does not come on with either rig

I have tried to run the firmware updaters (1.43, 1.40, 1.38) but they will not detect the MBox.

I seem to have found a 'return to factory state' type solution in this thread (http://duc.avid.com/showthread.php?t=189714 Post #8) however, the link to the file appears to be on the old DigiDesign site (http://www.digidesign.com/index.cfm?...0&itemid=24572) and will not correctly work.

Computer model and processor speed- 17" MBP, 2.2 GHz
OS version- 10.6.8
Digidesign or M-Audio hardware model- MBox 2 Mini
Pro Tools version- No ProTools
Amount of RAM installed- 4GB
Other peripherals- WD 2TB external HD, Logitech MX 510 mouse, KRK Rockit 5 thru MBox
