Avid Control Location help

Hi Folks,

I'm hoping to use Avid Control App on iPad to remotely record myself with PT.

It seems to have every feature I could ever need but I can't for the life of me figure out how to simply locate to a specific bar in PT. I.E., the equivalent of "asterisk" (bar number) in Protools.

Your advice is kindly appreciated.

Thanks for the tip. I'm doing something wrong though. Not sure what.

Using page 127 (main counter) in Eucon. Put a keypad * command on one button and a keypad "enter" on another. Saved. Neither does anything.

What am I missing?

Go to your security settings for the Mac, Remove Eucontrol and MC Client from the Accessibility area (select and then the minus key at the bottom. not the toggle switch.)
Then hit the plus and add each back (found in the Applications folder.)

There's a problem in macOS where the stated setting isn't actually being applied. This fixes that.

Also, use the Euconized softkeys over keyboard inputs when possible.

So for the asterisk:
KEY > Insert Special > Keypad * (which is \p*)

For the enter:
EUCON > Global > Enter

BScout, can't thank you enough!! I was at my wits end on this one. The fix worked like a charm and thanks for bringing my attention to the keyboard vs Eucon protocol.
