Hi,
Anyone knows how to recall memory locators on a laptop keyboard.
ex:".1.' recalls locator 1 on a numeric keyboard.

Not sure if you can, but it will involve the Fnct key(look closely in the middle of the keyboard for the blue numbers on some of the letter keys). Alternately, you might add a USB numeric keypad. Just one of the reasons I hate laptops for serious music production

I see the Fn key but no small blue numbers in middle section.
It s a macbook pro.
Small num keypad will be.

The Apple keypad only mates with the external wireless Apple keyboard. You'd actually be better off just getting the Apple wired long keyboard that has everything on it already.

Just FYI, if you do go with a wireless numeric keypad, you will also need Karabiner to get the command key functionality to work.

It doesn't work without Karabiner?
BTW just checked and Karabiner is not yet fully Sierra compatible.

My experience has been that transport commands work, as do marker recalls, but window commands (such as command-numpad-2 for session setup) do not work on add-on wireless keypads without a utility like Karabiner.

Good to know, I'll investigate
