Selling Eleven Rack + Pro Tools

I'm going to sell my Eleven Rack however do I need to fill out that transferring form as I have registered both the software and hardware?

You dont HAVE to do a transfer of ownership. But its something you should do so the new buyer can have their name registered as the owner.

What version of Pro Tools is being included? If its 9 or higher there is a $25 transfer fee for the license transfer to another iLok account.

There is no charge for the transfer of the Avid hardware.

Just fill out your portion of the forum and include it in the box when you sell the 11R. The buyer can fill out the rest and scan and email it to Avid.

I'm not sure anymore. I use to think so, but if you read the language they use, it says it is the sellers responsibility to provide the software to the buyer, and its the buyers responsibility to make sure they receive the software.

Avid is always changing the way they do things, so I can't say for certain.

Thanks guys, $25 for the ilok transfer isn't a huge amount so that will be fine.

You could also just give your iLok account and iLok USB key to the buyer to avoid the transfer fee.

Thats only if you don't need the iLok or account for other plugins/software.

I had an ilok before which I use for other stuff I've bought so I can't really do that.
