ADAT Transfer to 001 using MTC
Since PT 5.0LE will send MTC and receive MTC, is it be possible to do digital ADAT transfers in time using an interface like the 64XTC?
I know that I won't be able to view it in SMPTE but will it lock consistently anyway? I know the 2408 does this seemlessly. Also, is the ADAT I/O on the 001 24 bit? |

I'm not sure about the 64XTC in particular but you should be able to lock up an Adat consistently with an external Adat sync box. Yes, the Adat I/O is 24 bit. Jon |

Jon-
Do I *have to* use the 001 as my MIDI interface? If I can just use the 64XTC, I'm in business. evanb |

Re: ADAT Transfer to 001 using MTC
You don't have to use the 001 as your midi interface, you can use any interface that OMS can deal with. You can even use both your 64xtc and the 001's midi interface together at the same time.
