Crashes when opening Session containing Plugins

Hi there,

I just got a PT LE 8.0.4 with CPT, and I'm using Win 7 64Bit.
I also got the Gold Bundle from Waves (V7), and my problem is a real pain in the neck. Whenever I try to open a recently saved session, that contains plugins (no matter which or how many), Pro Tools crashes at the "restoring tracks" message, leaving no error message, just freezing.
But I can't lay my hand on it. Sometimes I open the same session several times without problems. And then one time it freezes and won't open ever again, always freezing at the same point.
I already tried creating a new session and importing the tracks from the freezing session. Same here, always freezing at "restoring track", but it isn't always the same track. But always a track with plugins inserted.
So the source cannot be a particular plugin, but the principle of an existing plugin on a random track. It's really weird.
Has anyone any idea? It's impossible to work with PT that way.

Hold shift & then open the session while holding it; activate the plugs 1 by 1 til u find the culprit as it is a plug or combination of them...

Okay, I tried that, and a session, that always froze opened fine. So I activated all plugins one by one, and there was no error whatsoever. I could playback fine, everything worked.
Then I saved it, closed and tried to reopen it - again the freeze on "restoring tracks".

that sucks; hav u trash the Databases folder? that may not be the end all solution but see if that can help any...

Would be astounding if that helped, since I just installed PT yesterday. But being short of other clues, I'll give it a try.
