What happened to the tabs? [SOLVED]
Am I imagining things or were tabs done away with? I actually preferred them to multiple windows, even if I used the shortcuts. It at least kept everything tidy.

Re: What happened to the tabs?
I've been using Pro Tools for 18 years and don't recall any "tabs"

im pretty sure tabs never existed, maybe you are confusing it with a plugin you were using that had tabs?

Re: What happened to the tabs?
FOUND IT!! I was just setting up a system in one of our new edit bays and everything ProTools opened had TABS in the window... one for the editor and one for the mixer.
It's a Mac setting in, believe or not, DOCK. There's a pull down menu next to "Prefer tabs when opening documents:" with the selections Always, In Full Screen Only, or Manually. To the OP, Change it to Manually and they'll go away. Change to Always and the obvious happens and your tabs are back.
