BUG: region-naming in 7.3.1cs1
Hi,
I think the region-naming is buggy in 7.3.1. Try this: - double-click on a "whole file" on a track using the multi-tool. -chose "rename region and sound file" and enter a name already used in the session. PT will then say "region-name" already in use and take you back to the naming window. -now chose "rename region" and enter the name again (or any other name). PT will again say that "the file-name is in use already". -Now cancel the operation. -double-click the region again and now chose "rename region" first and enter a name. PT will again say "can not rename. name is used". PT will only allow you to name the region after making some edits. This isn´t like it should be or did I get something wrong? Frank.

Re: BUG: region-naming in 7.3.1cs1
Frank-
this bug has been around since time began (at least since PT 2.0) The whole file region is always the same as the file name. I do not know if a fix is possible, but perhaps someone does know... charles maynes
