weird problem with 5.1.1 and 5.1

Today I had a weird problem. I translated an OMF from Filmcomposer and opened it on my G4/5.1.1 mix+, macOS9.2.2). no problems.

then i copied the very same 5.0 that came from DT 1.0 to my dialogue editor´s rig (9600, 5.1, macOs 9.04) via ethernet. when he opens the file some regions are missing in the timeline allthough all mediafiles are found.

is this a known bug of 5.1 or is his setup with the old macos and 5.1 just crap?
