In 6.9, I believe it is MIDI->All Notes Off.
I forget the keyboard shortcut offhand...when you drop that menu down and see that item, the shortcut appears right beside it.

Tnx.., I remember about Ctrl+Shift+.
During MIDI programming after each "STOP", some my MIDI instruments is continue sounding.
If I will be press Ctrl+Shift+. each time, I will boring very soon..
But other DAWs (like Nuendo) send "All Notes Off" automaticaly after stop playback each time.
And in Nuendo preferences I can turn off or turn on this function.
But Pro Tools can`t doing this. Why?

2 Digidesign:
You can insert this function in Pro Tools in the near future? Or in the nearest updatings?

I hoped that v.7 had this feature or had fix for this annoying bug. Unfortunately, people on DUC say its still there. I dont think it is so hard to add in preferences smth like.. "Reset on stop"

Yeah- a definite must-have feature IMO

For what it's worth, I am not experiencing stuck notes very much in PT 7 HD. Very rare....and I use MIDI alot. M-Audio Radium61 via USB, and a Kurzweil via Digi MIDI I/O (via USB); not using external instruments much, if at all...virtual almost 100%.

Hi Nikki

Are you experiencing delayed midi notes (virtual synths mainly) when recording in advanced sessions? Me and Jules described it here
It is still not clear for me are people at Digidesign aware of it.
Can you confirm this bug too?

Thank you

I dont have too much of an issue with delay...I dont run alot of instruments at once tho, and I use no RTAS plugins except for those instruments...ok, maybe once in a blue moon one RTQAS makes into a session...but only as a last resort. WHen I render an instrument tho, I disable all other instruments to allow the CPU's complete attention to that one thing.

But I will give it a try with a higher load...

I don`t know about PT 7.
2ALL: May be anyone use this function in PT 7?

P.S. Если я не ошибся - ты Женя Петров из Русаудиопро?

This issue is partly a problem with the RTAS plug-ins themselves and should occur much less, if at all, in Pro Tools 7. Any issues in Pro Tools 7 are very likely a problem with the plug-in and would need to be addressed by the plug-in manufacturer.
