Default lowering buffer rate for amplitube latency

I have been told to try to lower my buffer rate for latency issues for amplitube. How exactly is that done.Only thing i can figure out is setup-playback engine-H/W Buffersize. Is this correct,if so its currently set at 1024 samples, what should i set it to and will it effect other processes in pro-tools.
Does this make any sense?

Default Re: lowering buffer rate for amplitube latency

Try setting it at 128. It will lower latency all throughout PTLE if your machine can handle it without errors.
