Anyone running a Virus TI in ProTools ?
I've got a Virus TI 61 Keyboard, having a tough time getting this thing to play nice with PT 7.1cs9. I've got it connected to my Midi I/O, audio into a 192 I/O. When playing in stand alone it works fine but when hooking up the USB connection and running the VirusControl software wrapped with the FXpansion VST RTAS wrapper it just doesn't work, All audio is cut off, no Midi on the Midi I/O. When connecting the USB is that all bypassed ? The manual is a joke. If anyone has got one running correctly any help would be appreciated. Thanks Paul

Re: Anyone running a Virus TI in ProTools ?
Hey Dutchy, There is a bug in the Ti, the same happens in other DAW's. I heard they are working on a firmware update to solve that problem... Not sure if it's available yet, it might be worth checking the Access website's download section.
Good Luck, RS p.s. Not to get off subject but I still hate the cheap plastic iLok and I still think ZDT should be free! |
